Creative Play at the CMA

We recently spent the afternoon at the Cleveland Museum of Art planning our 2013 business year. Along with a bunch of design brainstorming, client partnership conversations and event planning we enjoyed the opportunity to explore the new Gallery One exhibit at the museum. If you haven’t been, GO! The impressive interactive technology woven throughout the space allows for a fun creative play for both children and adults.

The feature we were especially in awe of was the camera that captures each person’s variety of expressions and matches them with various mediums of artwork from the museum’s collection. Each “match” is then projected on a wall for all museum-goers to see (first picture) or sends you an email like a photobooth strip (second picture). It is a clever and engaging way to explore the artwork, and the use of technology is mind-blowing. 

We do a lot of design work here in the studio, but we also manage to sneak in some fun too. Why not? Isn’t that what being a designer is all about?

The month of March traditionally comes in like a lion and tip toes out like a lamb, but here in Chartreuse design-land we are planning to buck the farmers almanac trend! Our plan is to spend the rest of the year charging through the CLE community with new creative opportunities and possibilities. To truly make a big impact, we are in search of a passionate consulting team to fold into our already accomplished design team.

We would like to invite you to reserve your spot at our first annual “Casting Call” on Friday, March 1st. This event is open to creative contractors of all types, but specifically writers, editors, developers, social media experts, strategic marketing consultants and media buyers. We are asking for a short presentation of your strengths and services to have your talents at the top of our minds the next time our clients are looking for a savvy twitter voice, a database guru or a recommendation on ad placement value.

Chartreuse has been designing quality creative work for over ten years. As experts at all things print, we enjoy working with other small business owners, non-profits and larger home decor manufacturers located here in Northeast Ohio.

10 years of JOY

It has been a fantastic 10 years. Chartreuse been awarded great opportunities and client collaborations that have helped grow our firm one project at a time. We have been fortunate that every logo designed, photo shoot styled and marketing piece developed has heightened our presence in the Cleveland design community.

Each of us is thankful that we are able to spend our daytime hours enthusiastically doing a job that we truly love and producing successful results for our clients. We thank you for being a part of the first decade of our journey and look forward to next stages of new projects and partnerships, continued growth and FUN!
