Lonny loves Hinkley!

We couldn’t be more thrilled for our client Hinkley Lighting on their wonderful feature in the May/June issue of Lonny Magazine.
Launched in October 2009, Lonny is a bi-monthly online magazine that focuses on lifestyle and home decor.

The article primarily features advice on stylish, well-executed outdoor landscape lighting, but also showcases some of the exquisite lifestyle photography that we have concepted and styled along with the team at Hinkley.

Congrats on the great press for a local design and manufacturing company out of Northeast Ohio.

A sweet photo shoot

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, we had the pleasure of styling and art directing a photo shoot for Sweet Moses Soda Fountain and Treat Shop in the Detroit Shoreway. Working with the lovely Suzanne Cofer of Suzuran Photography, we captured the simple vintage goodness of a Sweet Moses visit. Known for their devotion to classic recipes and modern attention to detail, we rounded up our best friends (and sometimes models!) to help us showcase what the shop is all about. Incorporating a mix of models, we designed an adorable birthday party starring homemade ice cream sundaes and italian sodas.  If you look closely, you can see Suzanne quietly snapping away in the corner.

(Models Amber, Belle, Oliver and Kim having a very happy birthday while Charity touches up the details.)

After treating our littlest models to ice cream and sprinkles, we scooted them over to the candy case, where they posed, pointed and professed their love for all things chocolate.

With Sweet Moses’ one-year anniversary quickly approaching, we hope to unveil some new printed collateral featuring the images from the shoot. Be on the lookout for it soon, or visit www.sweetmosestreats.com to learn more about our sweetest client.

At Chartreuse we are predominately a boutique design firm, however from time to time we are given the opportunity to work on other creative opportunities with our clients.

In 2011, our client Moen approached us about partnering with them to develop an image for their holiday materials. They were open to our stylish vision; from choosing the set materials and suggesting featured products, to perfecting the details such as floral and wallpaper choices.

We acted as not only the art directors for the project but also the photography stylists. Every little curve of ribbon or snip it of pine was carefully tweaked, turned and fluffed. While we were very hands-on during the shoot, we worked with photographers at TRG Reality located in downtown Cleveland, to bring our vision to life.

The end result was a pretty sugar plum powder room at the holidays. “Deck the halls, and kitchens, and baths!”

If you are ever in need of art direction and on-location photo stylists look no further than our team. We are sure to transform your most basic photographic concept into a stunning masterpiece.
