We recently had the pleasure of being featured on the delightful sparkly Glitter Guide blog. Submitted earlier this fall by friend and blogger Shibani, we set out to scout the perfect photographer to help showcase the studio. We found a perfect match in Suzanne Cofer, whose talented eye captures the fun, open, creative nature of Chartreuse.
In addition to being profiled, we also created a small project for the blog readers, a little freebie of sorts! Follow the link and check out the article, download our small creation and explore the Glitter Guide.
Earlier this month, we participated in AIGA Cleveland’s Art of the Ornament event. It was a fun gallery show where designers create as “ornament” (loosely interpreted as anything hangs) that is then entered into a silent auction. What a perfect opportunity to debut our Underground card line, and spread a little holiday cheer in the process!
Here is our “Cleveland-love” card collection, hanging in pennant-style in the 78th street studio gallery.
Sara also entered a pair of holiday ornaments, covered in glitter of course!
A wildly successful event, this year showed the largest amount of entries, as well raising nearly $2000 for our local Habitat for Humanity. Cheers to all involved!
As a boutique design firm comprised of three women, we are in constant awe of all stylish greeting card lines. This year, we decided as a group to work on our own line of social expression cards.
(the planning & early design process begins!)
We worked late hours, spent a lot of time finessing the details, worked alongside printing experts to teach us the trade and now this weekend we are ready to premiere our sweetest endeavor, the Chartreuse Underground: a collection of thirty brightly hued, sparkly cards.
(working on press with all of the shiny foil was a learning process for the entire design team)
(30 card designs : 10 holiday, 10 Cleveland & 10 everyday!)
The entire collection will be for sale at this weekend’s Bazaar Bizarre on both Saturday and Sunday located on the West side of Cleveland at the 78th Street Studios. Each card is $4 apiece and as a show special we will be offering 3 cards for $10. Wholesale inquiries welcome. Come early, there are limited quantities available. We hope to see you there!
