Underground…this way!

This past holiday season we launched our very ambitious personal project, the Chartreuse Underground card line. Originally debuted at the Bazaar Bizarre, our cards are now available across town at some of our favorite local retailers.

(Paper Trails even put the greetings in the window, thanks Katie!)

In Rocky River, you can find our goods at Paper Trails (http://www.shoppapertrails.com/), across from Heinen’s on Detroit Road. Paper Trails is a Chartreuse go-to for all things snail mail. We just love their unique stationary finds, especially all the letterpress cards.

If you’re on East 4th, drop by Dredgers Union (http://dredgersunion.com/index.php) to pick up a few cards, some unique housewares or a pretty new outfit for the weekend.

Visible Voice Books (http://www.visiblevoicebooks.com/) in Tremont is also carrying the Underground designs. In addition to our cards, Visible Voice Books has a wide variety of programming, featuring authors readings, wine tastings and intimate concerts.

Thanks for all the love and supporting our local shops and friends.

Election Design

It’s no secret that we at Chartreuse keep close tabs on Lakewood happenings and are always up for dedicating time and talent to the community we’re proud to be a part of. When friend and fellow Lakewood-ite Ryan Nowlin approached us about creating an identity for his upcoming City Council campaign, we actually saw stars.

Ever since Scott Thomas’s fresh and pivotal Obama Campaign swept designers of the nation into a political frenzy, we couldn’t help but hope that we too could someday collaborate on a civic-centric project. Our golden ticket had arrived! We worked with Ryan to develop a visual identity, then to meet the many tangible needs of his upcoming campaign: event banners and signage, apparel and digital components for social media and e-mail communication.

Congratulations to Ryan, who was appointed as a member of the Lakewood City Council in 2011! We look forward to all of the positivity and commitment you will continue to bring to our beloved city.

Are you or someone you know feeling the urge to serve and run a effective but stylish campaign? Give us a call and we can help you develop your campaign brand, we promise nothing dull!
