summer fun : make & take a succulent garden

For our final Summer School-lite learning workshop we decided it would be fun to learn about something not related to design, business or city politics; instead we polished our green thumbs and took turns assembling our own individual succulent gardens. The event began with Charity talking...

summer fun : Mayor Mike Summers

This summer we hosted a series of creative learning events, but none more interesting to fellow Lakewood residents and business owners than lunch with Lakewood's honorable Mayor Mike Summers. After dining on take out from Nate's, each attendee was to jot down "if you could ask for anything...

4th Annual Art in the Parc

It was another wonderful Art in the Parc celebration, at Chartreuse.

Thanks to all of the artists who participated and the guests who came and enjoyed an evening on the patio; complete with cocktails and mini doughnuts from Matt at the Donut Lab.

summer fun : create & communicate
For our second event in the "Summer School-lite" series we decided to explore what having an "online presence" means. Piper Toth of One Sydney Road as well as Charity and Michelle led the discussion while many of the over thirty attendees added valuable feedback and content, making this a truly collaborative morning. The discussion centered around the four main avenues of your online presence, including your website, any blogging you participate in, your "social" activity and your ability to sell and make money online. It was a great learning and sharing session for all who attended. Thanks Piper for all of your insight, we always learn a bunch from you!
summer fun : wine & dine
As part of our tenth year in business we are hosting a series of events at our studio called "Summer School-lite." For the kickoff of the series we invited Dan Deagan of Deagan's Kitchen & Bar and the soon-to-be-new Humble Wine Bar as well as Ruth Kostadinov of Gatherings Kitchen to talk shop. We explored being entrepreneurs as well as the in's and outs of fresh, creative start-ups in the food and beverage world. We enjoyed a wine tasting complete with French wines under $20 and Ruth provided yummy tastings to complement each sip. It was a collaborative learning evening of great conversation and even better wine and food. Thanks Dan & Ruth for making our kickoff great!

Fresh Design is Cropping up in Cleveland

At Chartreuse we love a new place to nosh, especially one that we had a hand in designing. The new Cornucopia Place, along with it's sister Bridgeport Cafe, gave us the opportunity to do just that. Together with our clients at Burton, Bell, Carr Development,...

Coolest place to work..knock knock winner!

...we are now the proud owners of an official knock knock office prize pack! My favorite part of the honor? Our office culture being compared to a hip, CW dramedy! Yes, I am not too proud to admit I love a bit of CW. Thanks knock knock...

creative partner search!

The month of March traditionally comes in like a lion and tip toes out like a lamb, but here in Chartreuse design-land we are planning to buck the farmers almanac trend! Our plan is to spend the rest of the year charging through the CLE...
